Jordan Cordova
I build web apps people depend on: twelve years of ColdFusion and SQL Server for a military hospital, and my own products on the side.
About
From corpsman to developer
I started in medicine, not code. As a Navy Hospital Corpsman with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, I was responsible for the care and training of more than 70 Marines, including a deployment to Iraq during Operation Steel Curtain.
After the Navy I earned a BS in Web Design & Interactive Media and went to work building DoD training applications at Booz Allen Hamilton. Since 2014 I’ve designed, built and maintained the ColdFusion and SQL Server applications that staff at Naval Medical Center San Diego use every day.
On my own time I run Primal Engine, a small software studio where I design and ship products end to end, from the data model to the checkout page.
